Navya C V (ll BSc Chemistry) secured 1st position. Shivani T (1st Bsc Physics) secured 2nd position. Jisto Kuriakose Shaju (2nd Bsc Computer Science) and Abhay Dev R V (3rd BCOM) secured.

Reading day was celebrated under the auspices of MG College Central Library on 19.6.2025 at 2.30 pm. Kannur University syndicate member Sri. Pramod Kumar was the chief guest. Reading Day celebration was inaugurated by MG College Principal Dr. Swarupa R. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Aneesh Kumar, College Librarian Dr. Linsha and annual best reader award winner Jenny KC spoke at the function. Reading day talk was followed by book review by the students. Sneha Mohandas( 3rd BCom), Amrutha Devi( 2nd CS), Sreenandh ( 2nd CS) presented their reading experience. The annual best reader award was distributed on the occasion. Bsc Physics Student Jenny K C and MSc Mathematics student Lavanya U K were selected as annual best readers. 3 rd BCom student Sneha Mohandas delivered official vote of thanks.

M.T. Vasudevan Nair commemoration was organized under the auspices of MG College Central Library on 7.01.2025. The memorial meeting was inaugurated by the respected college principal, Dr. Swaroopa R. In the memorial meeting Mr. Pramod Kumar KV, (Head, Department of English, MG College & Kannur University Syndicate Member) and Mr. Prajil KV (Guest Lecturer, Malayalam Department, MG College) delivered the keynote address. Professor Jitesh K, Dr. Bijumon R, and Dr. Linsha M spoke in the meeting. Sneha Mohandas (second year commerce student) gave a formal vote of thanks for the memorial meeting.
